Team Leader Duties
The role of team leader is to ensure the best possible standard of
presentation and performance for our families on the day. We
ask that you re-familiarise yourelf with the Funeral Guide and Dress
Code before the service so you can make sure everyone is following it
correctly.
Team Leader Duties
• Bring everyone together for a prompt rehearsal start time.
• Ensure all available rehearsal time is used to polish the
performance to the highest possible standard.
• Check that all performers are dressed according to our Dress Code, with their LFS badge and folder.
• Take a full-length photo of the choir (including yourself and
organist if they're with LFS) and send it in the service Whatsapp group at least 20 minutes before the service begins.
• Remind everyone to turn their phones off and put them away, and
be seated, ready to go at least 5 mins before the service starts.
• Act as liaison between LFS and the church/family if necessary.
• Fill in the feedback form asap after the service, with as much detail
as possible.
Important note
Any musical changes (e.g. using a different setting/changing the structure etc) or logistical changes that deviate from the music and info
email must be okayed by Penny or Briony. Use the Whatsapp group for a quick response on this during rehearsal.
